This image and quote were initially used as a concept for a New York based Advertising Agency in June 2008.
The aesthetics and visual grammar concentrated on a portrait of a corrupt city, a reconstruction of Los Angeles' golden age: a ‘Sorrowful critique of the city's political culture and conformity’. It was exhibited at The Old Barn Art Gallery in Worcestershire, UK in late September 2008.
Inspiration came from the likes of Scottish painter Jack Vettriano and cinematographers John Schwartzman and Conrad A. Hall.
